A regional metal recycling firm
needed help developing new markets for its process. The company asked
SEA to determine the amount of a specific hazardous waste treatment
residue that is produced at on-site facilities within its market area. Working
closely with the firm's top management, SEA formulated a questionnaire
that identified key market issues, such as residue volume and customer
attitudes. SEA conducted over 60 phone interviews with on-site process
operators. The resulting data was analyzed by SEA staff.
