| SEA prepared
an Expert Report and analysis of EPA Enforcement Policy, and was deposed in
a coverage case involving closure of wastewater lagoons at a major chemical
manufacturing facility in the Gulf Coast. Report concluded that the
chemical company undertook closure in order to comply with various Federal
and State regulatory deadlines, particularly the 1984 RCRA Amendment's requirement
to retrofit or close unlined hazardous waste lagoons by November 8, 1988.
Also provided guidance to coverage group during Deposition of plaintiff's
experts and prepared cross-examination questions. Case was settled shortly
after my Deposition in a manner favorable to the coverage group. |
